About Weekly volunteer

We are looking for individuals to volunteer for stocking shelves, picking up food from places like Walmart, Sam's Club is city food network on a daily basis. Individuals must have a valid driver license.

There is an opportunity in Rankin, Mississippi to expand and further operate a successful Community Resource Center focused on providing food for the needy. Mayoung McClendon recognizes this opportunity and has decided to go forward with the expansion of this non-profit named South Rankin Food Resource Center, Inc. The non-profit will work with various objectives to provide compassionate service through food and assistance programs to individuals, families and children. Mayoung McClendon also recognizes the opportunities for delivering meals to homebound individuals, sandwiches to low-income after-school programs, and hot meals to those in need as well as food pantry services for the impoverished population in the community. In addition, the center will provide temporary help for people in crisis. South Rankin Food Resource Center, Inc. will serve its areas of food distribution working to make its operations more productive while at the same time controlling expenses.

Individuals must be able to lift at least 70 pounds.
