The South Florida Science Museum is a community-based science center whose main goal is to open every mind to science. For more than 50 years, the Museum has served 5 million Palm Beach County residents & tourists with innovative informal science education through a variety of hands-on exhibits, programs and special events. Guests enjoy laser concerts, planetarium shows, touch tank demonstrations & feedings in the aquarium, interactive science trail exhibits with miniature golf & so much more! Currently the Museum is open and undergoing an expansion to be completed June 2013 which will include a brand new entrance with welcoming area, new Museum store, beautiful 3,000 sq. ft. aquarium, interactive Everglades exhibit hall with a conservation station, science fair winner showcase, state-of-the-art Science on a Sphere exhibit, and a larger interactive science trail.
