About School Programs Volunteer

Join our dedicated school programs volunteer team that supports and encourages student exploration during fun, interactive, and inquiry-based programs for elementary, middle and high school students. Led by Museum Educators, our school programs cover topics like geology, anthropology, biodiversity, forensics, collections, and paleontology.

School Programs take place weekday mornings from October to June in Q?rius and Q? jr: a discovery room.

Volunteer shifts are 9:30am-1:30pm Monday-Friday.

Volunteers Requirements:
-Must commit to a minimum of 1 year at 2 shifts (8 hours) month
-Must pass a background Investigation
-Must be 18 or up

Training Requirements:
-Must attend all Trainings Dates
--January 24, 25, 26, and 27
-Must attend 1 Museum Orientation Session
