About Become a Guest Reader This Spring!

A Guest Reader is a volunteer who would like to share a profession/hobby with a class by reading a dog-themed book that is related to their field, and then speaks about why reading and writing are important to their field . There is also a question-and-answer session afterward for the kids. A Guest Reader is a person who has a passion for their field of work, can speak loudly and clearly, and is able to handle questions on the spot.
Commitment: 30-90 minutes, once a month, based on classroom participation
Training Required: 15 minute phone call with Volunteer Coordinator
