About American Folk Music Concert November 2015
Many of us think of folk music as the tunes made popular by artists like Burl Ives, Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez and Peter, Paul and Mary. But, the scope of American folk is far wider and includes spirituals, jazz, blues, bluegrass, country western, gospel, and even Civil War music. So, our program will be varied in style and diverse in selection...a little something for everyone! Looking for Singers who can make at least 10 rehearsals. Looking for sound and lighting technicians, stage designers and craftsman for the dress rehearsal and two performances. Seeking students to participate in any of these activities.
Application Process
Come to a rehearsal at First United Methodist Church Mondays at 6:30 PM. or email [email protected] for more information.
