About Become a base support or field team member for search and rescue operations

Our volunteers respond to missions and perform public safety service. Missions can be to search for missing hikers, conduct evidence searches for the Sheriff's Office, provide radio communications in an emergency, locate source of ELT beacons (plane "black box" beacons), and many other varied activities. As a team member, you will use your first aid training, navigation skills, knowledge of HAM radios and communications, understanding of incident command, outdoor training and rope and rescue skills to work with others who share your passion to make a difference during an emergency or time of public safety need.
