About Volunteer with the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra

The Sheboygan Symphony is looking for dedicated volunteers to help in the office. Work behind the scenes with the SSO staff in an enthusiastic and friendly setting.

Here are some projects where you can make a difference:
--Mass Mailings: Folding, stuffing, and mailing for the Symphony.

--Symphony Dinner: Help prepare and serve dinner to about 100 people on one evening.

--Concert Events: Selling tickets, refreshments at rehearsal, delivering flowers for soloists and guest artist's "appreciation basket", receptions.

--Pops Concert: Serving on the committee, bringing in the raffle items, seating guests, selling raffle tickets.

--Telephone Calls: No cold calls. Usually 5 to 10 contacts to be made during season ticket sales promotion.

--Tasks for Orchestra and Chorus: Anything from food service to putting out music.

--Newsletter: Organize, publish, and mail about three times per year. This is a committee effort.

--Membership: Mailing information to perspective members, articles for the concert brochures, annual membership renewal.

--SAYS Projects: Working with the Youth Symphony on their projects as well as bringing to our group the needs of SAYS. Part of our mission is to encourage the youth by making SAYS financially secure.

The number of hours you can give is up to you. We appreciate whatever time you have for us.
