About Farm for Hunger Relief!

Sharing the Harvest Farm operates solely on the work of volunteers. Whether they come as individuals, groups or classrooms, volunteers are what make the farm go round. Volunteers help in all aspects of the farm including, but not limited to: seeding, transplanting, cultivating, harvesting and various other farm-related tasks.

In 2013, Sharing the Harvest hosted 2,636 total volunteers who donated 6,950 volunteers hours. Without these many volunteers, we would not be able to successfully run Sharing the Harvest Community Farm nor would we be able to donate over 200,000 pounds of produce in the past eight years.
