About Mighty Texas Dog Walk

On March 4th at 10 am, participants will line up for a one-mile stroll on the grounds of the Austin American-Statesman located at 305 S. Congress Ave.
And… the theme for the event is going to be “Furry Tales,” so we sure could have fun dressing up our dogs!
After the walk, there will be fantastical art installments by a world renowned artist for photos of guests and their dogs, tons of free samples of premier dog foods and treats from event sponsors, a food court and beer garden, dog agility course, raffle prizes, and opportunities to ask questions from professional veterinarians and dog trainers.
This year, the event organizers are focusing on teamwork, awarding prizes for best costumes, most funds raised, and biggest team. Let’s build the biggest team and let our pugs steal the spotlight. I know we can do it! Voting will go through the new MTDW App for costume contest and team name!
