About Youth Leader, Arnprior Ontario

A Scout leader works in a team to plan, do and review activities for and with the youth members in your community.

All volunteers are screened, trained and mentored to provide fun, educational and safe adventures. If you enjoy being outside, camping, planning special events, the arts and playing organized games you should consider joining Scouts. The program is well balanced to help develop well rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world.

We currently have a waiting list of youth who want to participate with Scouts in Arnprior. If you want to have some fun and work with youth consider volunteering at Scouts.

Application Process

At Scouts Canada we have an established orientation process for potential Scouters which includes both screening and training. There is often a need for Youth Leaders and for volunteers to help manage the administrative duties of the Group.

All volunteers require a clean PRC - VSS, interview and references. There is both online training and in-person training available.
