About Youth Leader, Cornwall Ontario

Youth Leaders plan, do and review programs for and with youth in a specific age group. (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers)

Leaders will be screened, trained and mentored to create fun educational, safe adventures for youth in your community as part of a team of Scouters.

We currently have a waiting list of youth who want to participate with Scouts in Cornwall. If you want to have some fun and work with youth consider volunteering at Scouts.

Application Process

You will need to provide:
Three personal reference checks
A “clean” Police Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
You will undergo a selection Interview.
If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will take training that will teach you what you need to know to become a great leader. Courses are available online or in-person.
