The Marketing Manager will work jointly with the Chief Executive Officer and Director, Strategic & Business Development to develop and implement a cause marketing strategy to help build the first of its kind domestic violence prevention and awareness brand.
Specifically, the Marketing Manager will:
-develop and direct the marketing and brand development efforts;
-develop philanthropic relationships with corporate donors including philanthropic giving, cause marketing, employee engagement and advocacy;
-promote the cause marketing partnership opportunities via social media, e-marketing and traditional marketing initiatives;
-manage activities related to the design and presentation of the cause marketing program and opportunities;
-expand the cause marketing efforts as part of the organizations branding and funding diversification.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess marketing and strategic thinking skills, be driven and comfortable working in a startup operation with the flexibility to excel in a progressive environment; and possess a minimum of 3-5 years marketing or equivalent skills.
This position is ideal for an individual interested in taking a leading role in a progressive national organization devoted to igniting major social change. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be willing to delay full compensation in exchange for joining a dynamic start-up poised for major growth. Upon successfully launching key cause marketing initiatives, a moderate stipend that will lead to full compensation will be negotiated, as funding becomes available.
Given the pro bono nature of this opportunity, this role can begin as part-time and be designed to work around your busy schedule. Additionally, you will also be able to telecommute with flexible work hours.
