About Artist Teachers

We would love to hear from you if you would be interested in either an Artist Teacher position (teaching arts curriculum in the public school year). Or if you’re an Artist who may wish to participate in our SFArtsED Players musical theater troupe, instruct our After School programs , or teach at SFArtsED Summer Camp.

We’re looking specifically for Artist Teachers in :
--Dance (creative movement, modern)
--Theater
--World Dance (Capeoira, Hip-Hop, African, Brazilian)
--Music (Drumming, Rhythms, Orff, Choral)
--Visual Arts (Mixed media, Ceramics)
--Musical Theater (Dance, Staging, Theater Direction, Choral Direction)
--Puppetry
--Creative writing (elementary school theater/story scenes)

We seek Artist Teachers who have demonstrated flexibility and commitment to develop connections with students and the school community. Also key is the development of a hands-on visual/performing arts curriculum that integrates critical thinking, individual learning skills and pride as well as collaborative learning.
