About Costume Council Coach Trip: Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts: Il Teatro alla MODA

$95 Costume Council, $105 general

Explore Italy's famous haute couture designers and their impact on the stages of opera, dance and theater in the United States premiere of Il Teatro alla Moda--Theater in Fashion at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills. More than 80 costumes, sketches, and drawings from Giorgio Armani, Roberto Capucci, Enrico Coveri, Fendi, Alberta Ferretti, Romeo Gigli, Antonio Marras, Missoni, Emanuel Ungaro, Valentino and Gianni Versace are featured. The exhibition was brought to Beverly Hills to celebrate the current transformation of the city's Italian Renaissance Post Office into a distinctive performing arts venue, and to honor the designer's contributions to the performing arts. Join fellow Costume Council members on a exclusive, private tour of the exhibition with the exhibition manager, Wayne Kastning before the Center opens to the public. We'll follow our tour with an Italian luncheon, and then time for a little light shopping before heading back to San Diego.
Reservations and advance payment required. No refunds after March 7, 2012.
