About Help Bring the Magic of The Nutcracker to Life!

San Antonio Youth Ballet is seeking enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to support our annual production of The Nutcracker. This cherished holiday tradition showcases the incredible talent of our young dancers and delights audiences across San Antonio each year.

Our 2024 performances will be held:

December 17 at 10:00 AM

December 17 at 12:00 PM

December 19 at 7:00 PM

December 20 at 5:00 PM

December 21 at 2:00 PM

We could not bring this magical production to the stage without the dedication of our volunteer team! Join us in creating an unforgettable experience for our dancers and our community.

Volunteer Roles Available:

Ushers: Welcome guests, hand out programs, assist with seating, and help ensure a positive audience experience from the moment they arrive.

Backstage Props Crew: Assist backstage during the performance by managing props, setting the stage between scenes, and ensuring smooth transitions for our dancers.

Load-In Crew: Help unload sets, costumes, and equipment at the theater before the performances begin. Tasks may include light lifting, organizing, and setting up backstage areas.

Strike/Load-Out Crew: Support our team after the final show by packing up costumes, props, and set pieces, and returning the theater to its original state.

Volunteers are an essential part of our production family, and your time and energy directly contribute to the success of this beloved holiday event.
