About Sammy's House: Volunteer Details

Sammy's House is a volunteer-driven organization. Our corporate sponsors and teams provide minor and major facility renovations, commit to quarterly visits and help with ongoing projects. Our individual volunteers reduce our personnel expenses and broaden our impact by supporting our staff, while family and group volunteers are able to bond and learn about the values of diversity while helping us with a variety of projects. These volunteers not only help us carry out our mission, but they also learn about our community's needs and become more engaged citizens who educate others other about the value and capabilities of all people.

Our volunteer opportunities include: caregivers, classroom volunteers, facility volunteers, program support volunteers and administrative and fundraising support.
