Empty Bowls
Hosted by: SAMMinistries
About Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls is an international event held annually in cities and towns across the world to bring attention to the plight of the poor. In San Antonio, the San Antonio Potter's Guild and SAMMinistries have teamed up to provide shoppers the opportunity to purchase handmade bowls, which are accompanied by a serving of soup and bread donated by local restaurants, caterers, and bakeries. They then take the empty bowl home as a reminder of all those who do not have enough to eat. All proceeds from the event go to SAMMinistries.
