About Transfer on Death Deed Clinic (ToDD Clinic)

The Transfer on Death Deed (TODD) Clinic is a collaboration with the Mexican American Unity Council (MAUC) to assist indigent clients with navigating asset transfer tools in an effort to help clients effect clear transfer of their property interest.

The clinic serves three primary functions:

(1) educating the client about asset transfer tools;

(2) drafting, executing, and filing transfer on death documents; and

(3) reviewing the client’s title report and supporting documentation to provide limited advice about the client’s current interest in the property and any steps that may need to be taken to clear title to the property the client is attempting to transfer.
