About Spring Into Action 5K Finish Line Rally Group Volunteers

Each day we have the opportunity to be a hero to a child in need. We can all be “Everyday Heroes” when we work together as a community to keep our children safe. April is nationally recognized as Child Abuse Prevention Month and we are bringing the national observance into our community with our 8th Annual Spring Into Action 5K Run and Family Fun Run!

The goal of this event is to raise awareness on the sensitive subject matter of child abuse as well as raise funds to provide direct services to children and their families that are beginning their journey to healing from the abuse/trauma.

We are looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to hand out pinwheels and medals to our 5K and Fun Run participants!

The race will take place on April 1 at 510 E Broad St, West Point, MS 39773. It begins at 8 am.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear Super Hero attire!! No background check required. We welcome all ages and any size group! Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
