About Volunteer at Book Buddies to Sort and Load Books for Book Buddies Bus!

Help us pack our mobile library by volunteering at Book Buddies on Saturday mornings. Our volunteers sort through books by grade level, assess the condition of the books, clean them, and place them into boxes to be distributed to 50,000+ students via our Book Buddies Bus in the 2023-2024 school year.

Our "Book Buddies World Headquarters" is at Port San Antonio, just off Hwy. 90 and SW 36th Street. It's easy to get to from any part of town. We have volunteer hours most Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. If you have a group who would like to work together, we can make a special time for you during the week. It's a great community-spirited activity for families, too. Sign up today and help Book Buddies get fun books into the hands of kids who don't have any. Let's build their home libraries together! If you've never volunteered at a sorting session, don't worry. We'll show you the ropes.
