About Volunteer Advocates

SAFE Project offers advocate training three times per year to equip volunteers with the skills and knowledge needed to work with survivors of domestic and family violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Trained volunteer advocates play a vital role by providing direct services to clients and covering shifts on our 24-hour crisis hotline. In 2024, our incredible volunteers contributed an impressive 2,860 hours on the hotline, offering critical support when it was needed most.

The next 40-hour training will be in fall 2025.
