About Busy Beaver Volunteer Corp.

The success of the Indreland Audubon Wetland Preserve is built not only on habitat restoration and careful stewardship, but also on the dedication of an energetic group of volunteers known as the Busy Beaver Volunteer Corps.
Just like their namesake, these volunteers are always hard at work. The Busy Beaver Volunteer Corps brings together community members who are passionate about protecting wetlands and supporting conservation in the Gallatin Valley. Their efforts help maintain and improve the preserve while creating opportunities for the public to connect with this special landscape.
Throughout the year, Busy Beaver volunteers assist with a variety of important projects. These activities may include planting native vegetation, removing invasive species, maintaining trails and access areas, installing signage, and helping monitor wildlife and wetland conditions. Each project contributes to the long-term health and resilience of the preserve’s wetland ecosystem.
