About Young Adult Community Conferencing (YACC)

A restorative justice program for young adults age 18-24 referred by West Chester University Judicial Affairs following citation for under-age drinking, noise violations, misdemeanors, etc. Students meet with a panel of community representatives to discuss the offense and determine ways to repair the harm to the community. Students agree to several activities or projects, chosen to relate to their individual interests or college major; they return in 30-60 days to report on their work.
