5k for Clean Water In Haiti

Run to help mankind, run to sustain the earth.

A fundraising event for Rotary District 7170

Event Information

10:00am Sunday, October 16, 2016

The Rotaract Club at Binghamton University, working in conjunction with the local Rotary clubs of District 7170, Endwell Rotary, and its international partner, the Saint Marc Rotary Club in Haiti and members of the local community, seek to carry out Rotary International's mission of tackling community challenges. We are hosting a 5k at Binghamton University to raise both awareness and funds for a more sustainable way to allow the residents of Grande Saline, Haiti access to clean water. The cause we are raising funds for is a project of an accredited academic program called Health for Haiti at SUNY Broome. Health for Haiti is responsible for the provision of a municipal-grade water filtration system donated by Pall Corporation.

Check in/Registration will begin at 9am and the race will begin at 10am. You'll find the registration table between Old Champlain and Old Digman, across from the East Gym and adjacent to the main campus road ("the brain"). See the attached map!

IMPORTANT: For child registrants, the payment page would still be generated but it is unnecessary for any credit card information to be entered since the registration fee is $0.00. It is merely an opportunity for the registrant to make a donation. Simply hit next on the page to go to the confirmation page.
