Rome Capitol Theatre and Arts Complex

About Us

Rome Capitol Theatre and the Capitol Arts Complex are located in the heart of downtown Rome. The historic Capitol was built in 1928, and has 1,788 seats, as well as an original-installation theatre organ. In 2012, two adjacent buildings were added, and Cinema Capitol, Rome's first purpose-built independent cinema, was added. Future plans include classrooms and an additional performance space. Combined, the complex will host more than 1,500 individual events in 2017, including films, live productions, concerts, and civic events.
