RVVCO is a grassroots, non-profit agency that was founded in 1979 to help low-income and homeless veterans and their families. Although it’s been over thirty-five years since our inception; we are still committed to providing supportive services to veterans in Southern Oregon. RVVCO has provided supportive services to over 800 veterans so far this year.
We provide emergency services to homeless veterans in Southern Oregon that includes financial assistance, advocacy, assist with navigating the Veterans Administration SORCC, and community partners. RVVCO staff has created a safe environment for veterans from all walks of life to come in, be listened to and treated with dignity and respect.
Part of the emergency services needs to include a winter warming center. We have a small building in that needs some modifications and some cots and mats for sleeping.
