About Respite / Caregiver Support Volunteer

Give a caregiver a break they deserve! Elder Network is looking for Respite Care Volunteers to
provide companionship to an elderly person, while
temporarily relieving the stresses felt by the caregivers. This allows the caregiver time to attend a support group, grocery shop, relax, run needed errands, or just take a break from the duties of care giving, with the ease of mind that their loved one is safe and taken care of. Volunteering is done in the caregiver’s home. Assignments are in your local area or neighborhood. Volunteer training, and criminal background check is required.

Time Commitment: 1-2 hours a week

Location: Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona County
