About 9/11 National Day of Service & Remembrance

As we approach September 11th, we are reminded of the strength, unity and love that brought our nation through one of its most difficult times in history. September 11th National Day of Service and Remembrance honors our community members who rose up in service in response to the attacks.

Join us for our 1st campus-wide service event of the year!
Saturday, September 12th
Time: 10 AM to 1 PM
Registration starts in the BLC Lobby at 9:45 AM
Transportation will be provided for all volunteers.

Volunteers will be going out into the community and participating in various service projects with our local community partners.

Snipes Farm and Education Center

Volunteers will assist with projects varying from apple picking, making scare crows for Fall Fest, painting projects and other farm projects.

Volunteers will assist in transitioning the center from post-summer camp to after-school space for youth and families. Projects will include cleaning and organization of the space.

Volunteer with St. Bernard's Project as we participate in the residential rebuilding program serving local Sandy-impacted residents, who own their homes but lack the financial means necessary to rebuild on their own.
