About Us

We serve San Antonio youth and adults who have a desire to improve their economic circumstances by providing highly effective education and career services. We offer basic literacy and English language classes, high school equivalency (GED) preparation, workforce training and career services, plus college preparation and ongoing advising and mentoring as students complete a 2- and 4-year degree.

Most of our students live below the federal poverty guidelines and all services are provided at no cost. We have the best results in the city to help them advance their education and attain family-sustaining careers. With the highest GED graduation rate in Bexar County, our students are completing a college degree at double the rate of their peers. Over 80% of our workforce training students complete a certification and obtain employment within a year.

Our success is the result of a highly personalized approach including interwoven, flexible pathways and comprehensive wraparound social service supports that remove the barriers to educational success. We interact with dozens of social service, education, and referral partners to break the barriers of poverty and bridge the digital divide as we guide our students to educational success and career stability. Since opening in 2008, we have provided educational services to over 10,000 students.
