About Building Materials Store Volunteer

The Building Materials Store is a unique retail store dedicated to keeping used construction and building materials out of the landfill. Potential volunteers could assist the Building Materials Store in the following areas: Organizing the retail floor and lumber yard / Shadowing staff to assist customers / Processing salvaged lumber by pulling nails and sorting / Clean and sort donations of hardware, fixtures, windows, doors, and more / and Stripping metal from materials salvaged during deconstruction projects

Application Process
