About 2017 Team Ambassadors

Relay for Life of Clay County is looking for Team Ambassadors for the 2017 Clay County Relay for Life!

The main job of Team Ambassadors is to retain and recruit volunteers to help with team retention, recognition, information sharing, and mentoring. They also collaborate with the Event Lead and People Lead to plan and set goals for team retention and team mentoring. To that end, Team Ambassadors need to employ year-round strategies to retain, inform, and mentor teams, as well as be an expert on team retention and mentoring materials/resources, and communicate frequently with team captains about team member recruitment, team member delegation, fundraising opportunities, Society accomplishments, advocacy, logistics, and more.

Furthermore, Teams Ambassadors are responsible for hosting educational and inspiring kickoffs, team meetings/rallies, fundraising workshops, Bank Nights, and wrap-ups, and developing relationships with National Corporate Team partner teams.

Finally, Team Ambassadors ensure that all other Leadership Team volunteers are considering team retention and mentoring in their plans, while also ensuring that all team retention and mentoring volunteers/contacts know how much they are appreciated.
