About Volunteer Sexual Assault Advocate

Be the Difference. Be the Light. Volunteer with RVCC.
Every day, lives in our community are shattered by violence—and every day, the Regional Victim Crisis Center (RVCC) stands ready to respond. But we can't do it alone. We need hearts like yours to walk beside survivors on their journey to healing.
Whether it’s answering a crisis hotline call at 2 a.m., sitting beside a survivor in the ER, helping a child feel safe again, or offering a listening ear in a moment of fear—our volunteers are often the first face of hope someone sees.
This is meaningful, powerful, and life-changing work. And you can be part of it.
As a volunteer with RVCC, you’ll help provide:
24/7 crisis response and emotional support
Hospital and law enforcement accompaniment
Assistance with safety planning and resources
Education and outreach to prevent future violence
A calm, compassionate presence in the most difficult moments
RVCC equips all volunteers and interns with comprehensive training and support, so you’ll feel prepared and confident as you step into this vital work.
It takes courage to heal—and it takes a community to make healing possible.
If you’ve ever wanted to make a real difference in someone’s life, this is your moment.
Join us. Stand with survivors.
Be the voice, the hand, the heart that reminds them: they are not alone.
Become a volunteer with RVCC today.
