About Teen Open Studio Mentor/ Assistant

October 5 - December 16, 2016 -- Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays 3 PM - 6:00 PM
Age Range: 13 - 18

Summer Teen Studio Mentor: TOS Mentors/ Assistants will work with other volunteers to mentor teenage participants in different art media of the participant’s choice. (This might include ceramics, printmaking, fiber arts, painting, drawing, jewelry, etc.) The intern will work with individuals or a small group of teens on a particular art media, encouraging the teens to set and work toward goals in building art making skills. Teens focus on different projects on each day including portfolio work and community art projects. Teen Open Studio will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Your schedule can be discussed in more detail at your interview.
