About Marketview Arts: Engendered Exhibit and I’m Fine. Project Masks

The Engendered exhibition features artists addressing gender identity in a variety of ways that include examining their own relationship to established gender norms and expectations, responding to the heteronormative male/female binary, and asserting Queerness as a fluid alternative to the idea of a stable gender identity.

Our world is facing a mental health crisis. As artists, we believe in the power of art to ignite change and to create new perspectives. We also believe in you, the community, as agents of change. It all starts with a conversation. On display will also be some of the I’m Fine. Masks from the January All Adult Identities program where 15 members of our local LGBTQIA+ community created masks that express their mental health.

The Rainbow Rose Center will be there at various times throughout the day to talk to people about our Give Local York goals, sharing information about our organization, services, and programs, and of course, talking about York County Pride!

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
