About Be a Friend - Adults with Cognitive Disabilities

Rainbow homes needs you to volunteer for the following positions:
Be a friend to a resident
Assist with office work
Help plan and plant landscaping
Assist residents with maintaining landscape (watering & weeding)
Help transport residents to special events
"Adopt" a resident or an apartment
Assist resident manager in planning nutritious meals based on food stamps
Help residents attend services and programs at the worship center of their choice
Help residents in the practice and customs of their faith
Provide a large room for communal programs
Provide help with small electrical & plumbing repairs, carpentry projects, and general handy man/women projects
