About Food Sorting

Volunteers are needed to sort and box food collected from the National Association of Letter Carriers food drive into categories based on the USDA's "My Plate" nutritional guidelines.

Volunteers are needed from 9:00 AM - Noon. We can accommodate up to 25 individuals.

Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes (no flip flops or sandals etc.). The warehouse temperature is typically a degree or two warmer than the outdoor temperature, so dress accordingly. (Hint: if it's a little chilly, that's ok because we'll warm you up with activity!)

Application Process

Children 12 and older are welcome with one to one adult supervision.

Family-Friendly

Parents and children are invited and encouraged to get involved.
