About Volunteering at Wing Haven
Located in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, Wing Haven provides a natural oasis for reflection and study of its two public gardens. There are many ways you can become involved at Wing Haven, and you always have the opportunity to give a little–or a lot–of your time.
1. PLANT SALE - October 4-7, afternoon and Saturday shifts - we need "able bodies" who can help load plants into cars & other errands. This would be really fun to do with a group of fellow students!
2. HARVEST AT THE HAVEN - October 21, 9:30am-12:30pm - work with small children making crafts, snacks, etc.
3. GIRL SCOUT BADGE DAY - October 21, multiple shifts - adults and teens can help young ladies (age K and up) attain badges.
4. DROP IN DAYS - once per month on Saturday mornings, sign up now! All ages welcome.
