About Carolina Thread Trail- National Public Lands Day

Come celebrate National Public Lands Day with a service project with Carolina Thread Trail! Volunteers will help create a fire line in preparation for a prescribed burn on the preserve, help trim vegetation along the trail, manage invasive plant species and assist with other projects. Project direction, tools, snacks, water, Gatorade and lunch are provided. Volunteers must be 16 years of age and accompanied by an adult if under 18. Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes to participate. Long pants and clothing layers are recommended. We ask that volunteers bring a water bottle and day pack to hold their belongings while out on the trail.
