About Participate: Report Sightings

Do you enjoy bird watching? Are you interested in bird research, but not ready for bird banding?

Put your binoculars to good use! Help locate color-banded birds and contribute to PSBO’s study of Birds Wintering in Urban Landscapes.

PSBO needs year-round volunteer assistance recording sightings of color-banded chickadees, juncos, and Fox Sparrows in the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park areas. Volunteer sighters can work at their own pace or join other volunteers during scheduled banding sessions.
