Annual Fund Campaign (2015)

Gratitude • Passion • Belonging • Balance

Make an exponential difference

Spreading awareness is a great way to help support our cause.

Giving a gift to Primitive Pursuits helps to bring more youth into the woods - exploring, learning and building confidence that will serve them throughout their lives!

Help Build an Outdoor Classroom

Your gift to Primitive Pursuits' Annual Fund will help establish our new Outdoor Classroom where we will offer Overnight Camp opportunities for kids, adults, and families.  And you will also help us launch our new 9-month Instructor Training Program ("Wilderness Year")  that will take our teachings to communities across NY and beyond.

With your support we aim to raise $25,000 to develop curriculum, train staff, effectively market our new offerings, and also make required facilities upgrades to run both of these exciting new programs starting in the summer of 2016.

Primitive Pursuits has great gifts at creativity and improvisation with regards to program delivery. That said, we are branching out into new offerings that require an even higher level of planning, training and curriculum development to deliver the level of quality you have come to expect.

We need to have the resources now in order to be ready for Summer 2016, and with your support we are confident we will.

Our ability to make a difference depends on the generosity of our donors. Your gift is a gesture of support for
helping kids grow up with confidence, inspiration and a greater sense of who they are - so that they may share it with the rest of the world.

Your gift matters, and together keeps us growing and making even greater positive impact.

Thank you for your support!

About the Organization

Primitive Pursuits - a project of 4-H Youth & Cornell Cooperative Extension

Primitive Pursuits is a non-profit program within 4-H Youth Development at Cornell Cooperative Extension - Tompkins County. We provide leadership and wilderness skills education to hundreds of toddlers, youth, teens and adults throughout the Finger Lakes region.

Through our outdoor-focused programs kids and adults build their confidence, self-reliance, as well as a life-long relationship with nature.

If your gift is for the Lily Glidden fund you will have an opportunity to note this in the comments section - THANK YOU.
