About Hospitality Internship

The Potter Park Zoo Events Department invites you to join our
team through the Hospitality Internship. From large public
events, private events, and everything behind the scenes—
you’ll take part in creating the FUN here at the zoo!

The Hospitality Internship is an unpaid part-time position (20-
30 hours), for the Summer and Fall Semester of 2018.
Preference will be given to candidates interested in interning
for both semesters. All Majors are welcome to apply.

As an intern, you’ll be an integral part of our Events Team.
Explore all aspects of what it takes to put on an event from setup/tear-down; communicating with staff, volunteers, and event partners; banquet service, and more!

Interns will be involved in the overall development of our private and public events including such favorites as Zoo Days and Boo at the Zoo. Internship schedule will include some evening/weekend work in correlation with event dates.
