About Friends of the Port Jervis Free Library

The Friends of the Port Jervis Free Library is an organization of volunteers dedicated to furthering and improving the Port Jervis Free Library. In 2006, they formed a core group of dedicated readers who wanted to help the library and the community. Through their amazing efforts, they have evolved into an energetic group of over 100 members that contributes through the booksale and other fundraising efforts.

To join the "Friends of the Library," please call Ken Winters or Cindy Hoynoski at (845) 856-8639. To volunteer in the booksale room please call Carol Lamoreaux (845) 856-3741. The Friends of the Library meet at 2:00 PM on the first Tuesday of every month at the Port Jervis Free Library. New members are always welcome. Please consider joining the Friends.
