About Foster Service Puppy Home

Our Foster Service Puppy Homes get the chance to see the beginning stages of our training process. They are given a puppy to raise for approximately 15 to 18 months to socialize, train and love. The puppy then gets to graduate into the final stage of training with a certified service dog trainer until they are paired with their companion for their working life.
As a Foster Service Puppy Home, you get to start socialization and love right out of the starting gate. You will receive a service puppy vest, which will allow the general public the knowledge of the wonderful volunteer work you are doing. When the puppy completes stage one of training with you, they move onto stage two. Stage two is the most fun stage, since the puppies then move onto going where other dogs are not allowed to venture. Our puppies are allowed to visit all types of businesses to learn how to work and be a good dog.
Basic obedience is a must and only good manners are accepted.
This is the most rewarding type of volunteering our organization can offer people. You will be working closely with one of our representative, who will then be teaming your bundle of joy up with their partner in the future.
