GENERAL PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Program Committee is an non-paid part- time position with credited volunteer hours based on a time commitment of 10 hours per week, which involves; establishing policies that guide the design and implementation of program activities; evaluate program effectiveness; and guarantee that the program address the needs of the organization.
Program Descriptions
#Moreofplus Campaign: Because of the significant lack of plus size representation within the media, PLUS+ is launching the #MoreofPLUS - Advocating for Size Diversity in Entertainment. This campaign wants to encourage decision makers in the industries to create more opportunities for plus size talent, as well as encourage plus size talent to pursue their dreams.
This program specifically hosts the following annually:
Social Media Campaigns to Encourage decision makers in the entertainment industry to create more opportunities for plus talent and Share various talent casting calls and entertainment opportunities (use hashtag to bring awareness)
Entertainment Industry Prep Workshops for the community (acting, singing, ent tech, auditioning, etc)
Annual #MoreOfPlus Film Festival and Talent Showcase during PLUS PosiCon
We are in need of the following types of volunteers:
Event Planners
Community Outreach Coordinators
Social Media Managers
Entertainment Industry Coaches (Entry level - acting, singing, headshots, auditioning etc)
Film Submission Managers
Local Day Volunteers
Registration, Hospitality,
Audition management

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and act within professional boundaries .
Eligibility
This is a part-time internship and we require that you have your own computer to complete the internship projects and tasks. Candidates should maintain a positive attitude under pressure, exhibit a strong work ethic, and enjoy working with a wide range of personalities. Most importantly, the candidate should be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks.
