The Orientation Assistant will help with finding/securing locations and setting a schedule of 3 Orientation meetings for our Forrest County Home Ownership Program. This volunteer will also assist in calling potential applicants, sending postcards to notify potential applicants of the Orientation Schedule and set appointments for attendance.
Ideally, this same volunteer will attend and assist with the Orientation meetings.
There will be one mid-morning meeting, one weekday evening meeting, and one Saturday mid-morning meeting.
The orientation Assistant should have the following skills:
Excellent interpersonal communication.
Ability to effectively manage your time and prioritize tasks..
Professional telephone etiquette.
