About Animals in African Art and Culture Winter Break Camp

At Winter Break Camp, we will discover the connection between animals and African culture. Each day, we will explore a different ecological area of Africa:

Wednesday, December 28 - Kenya
Thursday, December 29 - Egypt
Friday, December 30 - Madagascar

Open to Members and nonmembers. Pre-registration is required.

Campers who must be dropped off between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. or who have to stay beyond the 3:00 p.m. pick-up time, Before-Camp and After-Camp programs offer supervised games and activities. Pre-registration is required.

Before-Camp Program
8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.
$5 per day
After-Camp Program
3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
$10 per day


We need volunteers to help with:

This task is filled or completed
Volunteers are frequently needed to promote our conservation message to guests during special events. You’ll assist with crafts, games or information booths related to the event’s theme. Events are typically held during the day on the weekends in the spring, summer and fall. Additional opportunities may exist for other types of events. Ideal for groups or individuals.
