Medicine Making Party
Hosted by: People's Medicine Project
About Medicine Making Party
Join us for an afternoon of camaraderie, medicine-making, and supporting our mission to increase access to alternative healing in our community!
We'll be making fire cider, salves, and maybe a mineral tonic as medicines and gifts for the clients that come to our free weekly clinic. Emerge from the tryptophan-induced fog of "Black Friday" and "Cyber Monday;" take a break from eating and shopping; come make friends, chop some roots, and bask in the sweet warm feeling of healing. Kiddos welcome!
You: Bring your hands, enthusiasm, and a friend!
We: Bring the supplies, the know-how, a some sweet tunes.
Can't make it but want to help out? We're looking for donations of supplies, including garlic, onions, ginger, horseradish, bees wax, glycerin, labels, tincture bottles, salve tins, and rose hips (it's a great time of year to harvest the wild ones!). Email Abby at [email protected].
Every week, the People's Medicine Project hosts a free alternative medicine clinic at The Recover Project in Greenfield. Among range of other providers (from acupuncturists to yoga teachers), clients see herbalists and are often given herbal remedies to take home. We grow, process, and formulate most of the plant medicine ourselves. We'd love your help!
Family-Friendly
