About People's Community Clinic: Volunteer Details

Volunteers are important for People's Community Clinic to provide healthcare services to underserved workers and their families in Central Texas. The gift of your time can make a significant different to People's patients, many of whom are low-income working singles or families without healthcare insurance. Below are the following ongoing volunteer opportunities:
Clinic Interpreter: Interpret between Spanish and English for our providers and patients.
Nutrition Class Assistant: Help with the Happy Kitchen, nutrition-based cooking classes. Assisting during class with set-up, food prep, clean-up, and quiet activities with young children who accompany their parents. Bilingual in Spanish is helpful, but not required. January through October.
Reach Out and Read (ROR) Volunteer Readers in the Waiting Room: Read to children in the PCC waiting room. Bilingual in Spanish is helpful, but not required.
