About Volunteer - Sewing Historical Clothing

As a historic site, we are working to create 17th-century colonial Pennsylvania life for our visitors every day. We need volunteers who can help us create clothing for our interpreters and tradespeople, who dress in historical ensembles. No knowledge of historical sewing required, we'll teach you everything you need to know. Projects are a combination of machine and hand-sewing. Knitting projects and lucette-weaving also available.
