About Volunteer - Historic Gardens

As a historic site, we have 43 acres of grounds and several gardens used to demonstrate 17th-century colonial life to thousands of visitors every year. Our Gardener needs a lot of help in bringing the formal gardens and kitchen garden back to their former glory. You can help plant and harvest authentic vegetables, herbs, and other crops, weed and fertilize beds, repair garden structures, work in the greenhouse, and more.
